This year is the 170th anniversary of the arrival of the first Rumbelow family to Encounter Bay in 1855. The Rumbelow families, their descendants, and friends are gathering on March 29 and 30 2025 to celebrate this proud milestone with the community.

The organising committee would welcome the support of organisations and businesses such as yours to help mark this occasion. In particular. as a part of the gathering, we aim is to raise money to support the maintenance of headstones and memorial to the family across the region.

Any products, services or in-kind donations made for this gathering will be raffled and the proceeds allocated for this important heritage work.

Supporting businesses will be promoted and announced during the event, as well as featured on the event website and Facebook groups. This event has already received support from The Fleurieu Sun, Fleurieu Magazine and City of Victor Harbor.
